"So I found myself this morning, traveling to Abu Kabir medical examiner's office to verify your remains and part ways. They removed the white sheet, and the initial sight I saw was that smile of yours, that optimism, that peaceful presence and nobility that so defined you."

"I made contact, tried to detect your scent, caressed every bone in your body. I observed you, I was by myself with you, and yes, I felt with total assurance that it was you. Yes, I know, Guy-shuk, that you've come back home. You've rejoined your loved ones' arms, to all your friends, and to the numerous individuals whose emotions your narrative affected."

Family Strength

During the initial segment of the memorial, Illouz had dedicated all his efforts on consoling his smaller offspring. He stroked the hair of his girls, embraced his boy, showed affection and gathered his emotions for them. But then his voice broke.

"I'll miss so much journeying together through this nation, feeling you, hearing your music, relaxing in mountainous areas and lighting the burner to create the drink the way only you understood – 'Dad, do you see the coffee froth? You have to boil it gently, let the lather develop, then simmer it additionally. "Prior to my departure Abu Kabir today, I honored my word. I looked at you, breathed you in one final moment, and yes, I bestowed affection on the front of your head. I was able to see your beauty even in the situation in which you came back."
