Ex- British Broadcasting Corporation Specialists Participate in Parliamentary Inquiry Following Allegations of Bias in Disclosed Document

Ex- BBC advisers appearing before MPs

We begin with queries from Conservative MP the committee chair, that oversees the panel.

She opens by providing details to the leaked document prepared by Michael Prescott and published in a daily publication.

"I don't want the British Broadcasting Corporation leaning toward one side or the other, My only wish is for it neutral, impartial and just," he states.

Upon being questioned if he thinks the British Broadcasting Corporation is systematically partial, he answers: "No, I do not. Let's be clear, numerous aspects the BBC produces is top-tier - including factual and non-factual content."

But he adds: "There remains real work that needs to be done at the BBC."

Another ex-adviser BBC consultant interviewed by the panel, Caroline Daniel, states she views the BBC extremely earnestly and that it operates a "continuous process and active debate" on dynamic and complex subjects.

"Did the BBC ready to have a genuine dialogue and argument and act accordingly?" she reflects. "As I see it, yes they were."
