'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return
Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his interest in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently midway through the four-year agreement he signed when joining from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the transfer window of 2023.
The 32-year-old forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, helping them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the maiden significant achievement of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has recently expressed that he would like to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously consider prolonging his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we accomplish together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different options and different timings happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and lately became the fastest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had eluded him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would respond after overcoming his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I driven myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
