The gap between Parker's level and my perceived standing has been a common theme during my entire career.

“He has vast experience for a considerable period, with a many bouts on his record. In no way is he an old man but he has been in the boxing world for a significant time and had some heavy fights. I've also endured brutal fights and I understand they take a toll. He has been in a far greater number of those fights than I have.”

But the general belief is that Parker should prove too experienced, and too skilled, for Wardley. He is favored to secure a hard-fought contest with the confidence that he is next in line for a title shot against Usyk – the undisputed best in the division by a comfortable distance.
