The Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement within the fandom. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming strong opinions on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their personalities, one thought naturally: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a mix of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Super Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as constantly furious, which doesn't match the Ram's energy, renowned for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. This makes Aries much more akin to Super Camerupt, which only erupts when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of both and benefit from a strong ally; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

Taurus – Super Heracross

Much like a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross, both in its standard and Super Form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, both the creature and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their position to the end. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed passion for treats. Many past official descriptions note their craving for sweet tree sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it all, which is pure Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the soul of any gathering, providing an endless fountain of chatter to anyone who wish to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's incredibly easy to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its ability to predict an enemy’s next moves, which seems quite like a people-smart Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for frequently becoming absorbed in their feelings. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's excessive for this Pokémon to completely control,” which seems a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also known for its capability to create a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was planning to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Besides the fact that it would be much too on the nose, The Lion is obviously Mega Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being extremely fabulous (or terrifying, based on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Lion offers to the scene. Starmie is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be putting on a show, albeit for extraterrestrials.

Virgo – Mega Victreebel

The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you tell them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s just like the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how people are emotionally by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and striving to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them worry more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio loves cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That gives the exact same energy as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re correct. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the very first Super Form that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure

Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-flame placement that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire category fits seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall intimidating presence is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet convinced, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
