The ex-lawyer for the former president has resigned as New Jersey's top federal prosecutor. This follows a legal ruling that challenged her right to hold the office.

Official Departure

US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, confirmed Habba's resignation on Monday. She commented that the judicial decision made it "untenable" for the official to effectively run her office.

"But do not mistake compliance for surrender," she wrote. "This battle will now stretch across America."
